I used improved data quality and reliability to develop a robust monthly executive reporting package including interim financial statements with historical and budget variance analyses, interim statement of cash flows with cash flow forecast, analysis of liquidity and portfolio restrictions, and accounts receivable aging analysis. I designed and tested new application implementations including the accounting system, the payroll system, and the deposit and loan trust system by understanding requirements, simplifying processes, and performing detailed reconciliations. I seamlessly and timely converted one hundred diocesan bank accounts to a single bank with each zero balance bank account sweeping to a master concentration account.

My skills included audit, business processes and internal controls, general computer controls and application controls, Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 (SOX) compliance, financial reporting (US GAAP), enterprise risk assessment, current state assessment, future state design and implementation, business impact assessment, governance risk and compliance implementation, regulatory agreed-upon procedures, and initial public offering (IPO) readiness.The clients and industries I served comprised a Fortune Global 100 (FG100) aerospace and defense manufacturer, an FG500 electronics producer, an F100 IT distributor, an F100 oil and gas producer, an F200 computer peripherals and document system manufacturer, an F500 food and produce distributor, an F1000 grocer, a $32b HMO, and global hotel, restaurant, casino, and fashion brands.

As an airborne infantry officer, I counseled, advised, mentored, and coached cross-functional teams from varied cultural and socio-economic backgrounds for several complex assignments, including three combat deployments, and supervised all aspects of welfare, discipline, training, and re-supply. I developed, supported, controlled, and directed training ranging from live-fire exercises to family readiness counseling for a department of 250 professionals.As a qualified forward air controller (JTAC), I planned, coordinated and controlled aviation and fire support assets in direct support of Iraqi special forces, and advised the supported Iraqi special forces commanders and military transition team on employment of all fire support assets. I have been twice decorated for superior leadership and professional achievement in combat.
