I have over a year’s experience in ecology and GIS and am a graduate in Environmental Geography from the University of Stirling. Further to this I have experience in short term roles as a feasibility consultant, laboratory assistant and tutor, as well as seven years’ experience in retail. I have extensive knowledge of MS Office packages, especially Excel and Word, using more advanced tools to handle large datasets and automate processes. In addition, I have worked with the Python and R programming languages for the purpose of data science and automation.Within my current role I am the GIS technician of a small ecology consultancy as well as undertaking fieldwork, writing reports and liaising with colleagues and clients to deliver projects in a fast-paced environment. I have gained an understanding of the processes behind ecology, development and the associated legislation.
