As an associate in the Real Estate Group, I assist clients with all aspects of real estate development, commercial real estate transactions, commercial leasing and municipal planning.Recent experience: • Acting for major developers of multi-family residential and mixed-use developments including drafting offers to purchase, drafting purchase and sale agreements, ensuring developer compliance with the requirements of the Real Estate Development Marketing Act, drafting and negotiating covenants, rights of way, easements and building schemes to be registered in the Land Title Office.• Acting for the landlord of a large portfolio of retail properties including lease reviews and drafting and negotiating commercial leases, renewals, subleases and assignments.• Acting on commercial real estate transactions for vendors and purchasers of substantial real estate assets, including: retail properties, retirement homes and hotels. Advising on due diligence, purchase and sale agreements, corporate structuring and limited partnership agreements.• Carrying out legal research for all manner of real estate related issues.

Co:Here is developing a sustainable, affordable, and holistic housing community of 26 units onthe southwest corner of Victoria Drive and 1st Avenue East.Affordable housing and social isolation are two of the biggest challenges facing the city of Vancouver today. Often we think of this as a problem of bricks and mortar, but this is only half the problem. The real challenge is the human need that accompanies homelessness: loneliness and isolation. Co:Here envisions addressing these human needs through intentional community living in a 26-unit building in East Vancouver.The goals of the project are:- to provide economically and environmentally sustainable housing for those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness- to create a community that fosters a holistic response to the homeless- to offer Vancouver a refreshing model of affordable housing marked by long-term commitment to healing and life-giving communityVisit our website: www.co-here.ca
