A resilient, versatile and committed former investigator, I have had a successful career in law enforcement and an earlier career with the RAF, giving me a breadth of international experiences to draw on in my work. Expertise in managing risk and investigations complements a diligent approach to my work with integrity, care and organisational agility, I lead teams through difficult situations, drive change where needed and build trusting relationships with partner organisations and stakeholders. Investigation Management-An accomplished and qualified PIP 2 Detective, I displayed tenacity when leading investigations, overcoming challenges with creative problem solving getting to the root of issues. Communication-A career in policing has involved communicating with people of all ages and backgrounds, demonstrating empathy, active listening and professionalism to instil confidence and build trust. I am experienced in de-escalating conflict, negotiating, and presenting, as well as completing detailed written reports. Decisive and calm under pressure, I have been appointed to lead teams through complex crime investigations for extended periods of time. I am competent in putting robust strategies in place to mitigate risk, deter threat and create safe environments.
