United States Army Office of Energy Initiatives (OEI) I supported the Army Office of Energy Initiatives as a communications analyst on the External Engagements team. While I provide a wide range of support, including event planning, speech and article writing, presentation development, webinar development and execution, and communication plan creation, my main focus, was the office’s digital strategy. I develop the office’s social media and website content and use analytics to develop dynamic themes and messaging.

United States Marine Corps Installation Command (MCICOM) G-3/5 and 7 I provided strategic communications expertise while working for MCICOM G-3/5 and 7 supporting the Installation Protection (IP) and Government and External Affairs (GEA) offices. For the IP office, I produced an array of communications products including internal quarterly newsletters, internationally published annual reports, and other high-level communication products which were disseminated throughout the command. I also helped develop a social media strategy for the office’s Ready Marine Corps National 911 Education Month. For GEA, a fledging office,I worked directly with the director to develop the office’s first communications plan and branding strategy. I also helped plan and execute the office’s first conference.

United States Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) G-9I worked with a small team of strategic communications consultants to complete work on a special project in support of the U.S. Army’s TRADOC G-9. I was responsible for establishing analytical social media tools (Simply Measured and Hootsuite Professional) and developing a dynamic content strategy to enhance outreach and message pull-through as part of an overall digital strategy. I also developed training materials and presented these new social media analytics tools to the client. United States Coast Guard (USCG) CG-761I supported the United States Coast Guard’s Office of C4 & Sensor Capabilities (CG-761). This support (Booz Allen as a sub) included governance support, portfolio support, and project management. I supported two Governance systems and two Portfolio Working Groups through meeting preparation and facilitation, agenda creation, and deck building. I also compiled meeting notes, created SharePoint databases, peer reviewed process guides, and contributed to deliverable development (e.g., decks, budget roadmaps, quick guides). Department of Treasury - Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN)I worked with a team of subject matter experts (SMEs) providing functional support to Department of Treasury's FinCEN organization. This support included organizational design, Human Capital services, and strategic communications. In my role, I reviewed pertinent documentation (e.g., position descriptions, strategic plans/visions, functional statements, and customer and employee satisfaction surveys) and interviewed stakeholders to determine the functions/roles/skills needed to support FinCEN vision, mission and goals. I served in a support role, collecting data, identifying trends, creating matrixes, and developing deliverables (e.g., decks, reports).
