I've created strategy and overseen implementation for communications and digital marketing plans to promote online programs, on-campus events, and graduate student recruiting.• Created organizational messaging guidelines and a crisis communications plan• Created research-based marketing personas for undergraduates and faculty, to focus our messaging and targeting on the most likely participants• Ensured that all programs had clear marketing strategy, inspired by an “inbound marketing” model• Met aggressive marketing goals, resulting in 4.5 million online content views, 1,191 new graduate student prospects, and over 10,000 event attendees• Oversaw the selection of and transition to a new marketing automation platform (Pardot)• Oversaw improvements in email marketing, leading to industry-leading click-through rates of 26%-42%

Co-founded and directed Learn Liberty, an online education and digital media project designed to inspire and educate millions of students about the ideas of liberty. I built a driven, entrepreneurial team, set the vision and strategy, and oversaw communications strategy and brand guidelines.Beginning in 2013, I oversaw all of the Institute's online programming. A team of thirteen grew our activity to interactive online programs, a faculty-focused website, and career-advice webinars for graduate students, with a $2 million annual budget.• Led a team of internal project managers and external video producers, creating 400+ videos• Created active social media communities with 500K members on YouTube and Facebook, resulting in over 25 million video views in our target demographic (ages 18-24)• Drove targeted online advertising campaigns to isolate our demographic and increase its proportion from 13% of our audience to 70%• Built an entrepreneurial team of thirteen staff and vendors, creating a dynamic culture based on “lean startup” principles of test, measure, learn, and pivot• Contributed to fundraising for 15+ donors, resulting in over $2 mm in revenue

Personally directed the Koch Summer Fellow Program, a summer internship program in market-oriented public policy, helping 200+ students enter the workforce with personalized mentoring and real-world experience.
