District Business Manager
Current• Dynamic Sales Manager experienced in mid-cap/startup environment promoting & building novel product & class• Significant experience leading team of 9-10 sales representatives and representing organization through fast-paced change while meeting high expectations • Demonstrated ability to build/rebuild teams, develop talent and lead through adversity• Work in the field with district sales representatives to develop skills, product knowledge and territory plans in order to achieve sales objectives and pull-through company objectives• Identify top performers for continued improvement in current role and help chart potential career development paths; Identify low performers for improvement actions • Leader willing to take on additional cross-functional projects and leadership roles to help improve organizational excellence• Recruit, hire, train and develop sales representatives to achieve district and territory sales goals.• Meet and nurture relationships with key region diabetes centers, healthcare professionals, KOLs and diabetes organizations• Manage district expenses and administrative requirements as specified by company guidelines• Provide timely information and data regarding sales performance and district challenges/opportunities to management• Partner with cross-functional partners (Sales Operations, Sales Training, Marketing, Managed Care, P2P, etc.) to develop district strategies that drive improved sales performance and pull-through of all important initiatives• Responsible for ensuring district is committed to and meets the company quality systems expectations
