Senior Communicator for Special Operations Forces in Afghanistan responsible for all facets of communications within the Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force - Afghanistan comprised of over 5,300 personnel and $35M in communications infrastructure. Led the communications directorate of 62 personnel and managed eight distinct data networks and thousands of automation and server equipment scattered throughout 73 locations in Afghanistan.

Managed curriculum for Introduction to Special Operations course. Taught 5 blocks of instruction during 3-day course held every 3 weeks to adult class size of 120 to 300 personnel; obtained guest lecturers to teach 18 other blocks of instruction and kept syllabus and course content current and relative. Created testing standards and kept course running on time between lecturers and breaks. As Deputy CIO, handled all aspects of Information Assurance and network defense.

Plans and Programs Division. Managed current and future Theater communications infrastructure and transport for 17 bases in Southwest Asia AOR.

Led senior command post team of 14 personnel responsible for emergency management and daily operations updates.

Mission Support Group Executive officer responsible for managing 1,500 personnel and multiple activities covering Security Forces, Logistics, Civil Engineering, Manpower/Human Services, and Comptrollers.

Flew T-37, T-38, and F-16 - Track Selected to F-16 before voluntarily changing career occupation to better suit family needs at that time.

Led all communications for ISRD.

Counter drug operations for Joint Inter Agency Task Force - South.

Instructor Qualified in every position held. Command and Control experience.

Provided (GCI) positive control of aircraft in austere conditions during combat situations.
