• Given lead responsibility for setting up the infrastructure behind a critical new project. The project entailed rolling out a new investment advice and review service for potential and existing clients. Attention to detail, creativity and initiative were paramount to developing the infrastructure, database and processes for the project in an efficient, and repeatable manner.• Attended investment meetings where the investment team would discuss macro-economic news flow, asset allocation, fund research, and portfolio positioning. • Sat within the investment team during my time at Whitechurch, gaining valuable insights into financial markets and investment management from an award winning investment team.• Gained exposure and understanding of UK wealth platform structure and their relevance to the wealth management industry.• Liaised with fund platform managers to obtain client information in order to establish a target market and further analyse desirability of clients’ current portfolios. • Ran diagnostic tests to analyse the clients’ current portfolio versus their attitude to risk in order to further advise changes needed to their portfolio, which were tailored to specific individual client requirements.• Worked with and learnt from Jonathan Moyes, a Top 30 under 30 Investment Manager 4 years running, and a Chartered Wealth Manager and Chartered Fellow.
