I currently hold the position of Package Dispatch Supervisor. My job is to dispatch a 39 car center. Stats are given to me such as; Stops per car, route level, and imported inbound package data. I take all this information and determine the dispatched parameters of each route in the building. I then run the Preload shift and am responsible for the unload of all inbound volume and loading of each package car for the day. I have held this position for the past 8 months. Prior to this, I was an on-car supervisor. I was responsible for training drivers in safety and delivery methods. I held that position for 8 years. From 1994-2004 I was a package car driver. From 1987-2004 I was a part-time reload supervisor and from 1986-1987 I was a reloader.
