Scott Britton is a senior partner with the law firm of Ford & Britton PC. He concentrates his practice in insurance defense and commercial litigation. He has experience in all aspects of trial and appellate practice with an emphasis in products liability, transportation, construction, professional negligence, insurance coverage and related litigation. Scott has also given a number of presentations to various groups on insurance and related topics to insurance companies and national business organizations. As managing partner (1999-2003), he assumed significant additional responsibilities included hiring, training and review of associates, preparation and implementation of business development plan, client maintenance and supervision of all financial, tax, insurance and technology issues for the firm.In addition to his law practice, Scott has served on the Glenview district 34 Board of Education and from 2007 to 2018 was a trustee on the village board in Glenview. In 2018 he was elected to the Cook County Board of Commissioners.
