Issuing Authority and Competent Gas tester within the RAP permit system responsible for both the 2VDU and H2MU area’s.

Central North Sea

Operating and monitoring/controlling all aspects of the platform including oil separation, gas compression and recovery, fuel gas, produced water, seawater systems, fire and gas panels and utility systems. Producing and updating daily production reports and records. Carrying out meter proving runs on fiscal meters and updating fiscal records. Main point of contact during initial emergency response to incidents on the installation.

Responsible for managing and coordinating all daily Production related activities across the site ensuring all EHS standards are maintained; thatProduction targets are met and Quality sustained.Senior Management representative on site (out with office hours) being the initial focal point for all activities/emergencies.

Responsible for the safe, effective operation of the Polymerisation area of the plant with direct responsibility for a team of 4 operators, 1 utilities operator and three craftsmen

Operated and controlled pressure reactors, atmospheric reactors and associated materials movements. Received and offloaded raw materials from road tankers and underground pipelines.

Served an apprenticeship and qualified as a Mechanical Fitter.Covered: Machine shop work, IC and Diesel engines, Motor repair garage, Power station, Process Plant maintenance and overhaul including Fractionating columns, Heat exchangers, Furnaces, Pumps, Compressors, Pipework, Valves and Relief valves.
