• Process customer products through the entire Assembly Process• Lead and participate in continuous improvement events to eliminate inefficiencies• Manage and lead launch team through all phases of the a project, feasibility, design, construction, prototype, onsite installation, debugging, launch, buy-off and final hand off • Conduct design reviews on an ongoing basis to ensure that the process is lean and robust• Create requisitions required for purchase order inputs, and approve spending within project budgets• Estimate project costs and create and manage corresponding timelines and budgets• Manage contractors and trades people to ensure safe and healthful workplace, ensure all government and company rules and regulations are adhered to always. Minimizing risk and incidents to Presstran.• Managing onsite contractors to ensure scope of work is completed as required within allotted time and budget.• Ensure that all aspects of each project are completed on time and on budget• Develop, plan, manage and implement various projects for safety, quality and production improvements in the assembly area• Manage customer driven engineering changes to ensure that cycle time is maintained or improved and that customer quality parameters are met • Participate in all TS16949 activities such as PFMEA, APQP and CPMP• Exceptional organizational skills that enable me to manage various projects with overlapping timelines.• Promote a positive attitude within the team.
