As part of an incredible team of dedicated vegetation control workers, we provided an innovative solution driven program within the business to manage the high demands of protecting our communities across a diverse range of vegetation types. As project lead and architect of a multi-skilled team, we utilise LiDAR technologies in predicting vegetation growth and identifying hazard trees, defining our risks v cost baseline year on year and optimising program performance across 28,500Km2 of a distribution network.

I have provided evidence in NSW Supreme Court, submissions to Coronial Inquiries, advice to industry on NSW environmental legislation, bushfire risk mitigation strategies and implemented Vegetation and Access Tracks contracts. I've managed legislative compliance and developed and implemented stakeholder engagement strategies for business within the arboriculture, botanical and electricity industries. I've played a significant role in developing risk mitigation strategies for business, including co-authoring the Hazard Tree Identification Course which was recognised by IPART and won Endeavour Energy's Safety Excellence Award. I co-authored 'Understanding the past, present and future of vegetation risk on a bushfire prone electricity network with geospatial analysis' - An innovative project using spatial analysis and sophisticated model building to combine multi-temporal LiDAR data with sources including historical meteorology, vegetation work patterns and actual observations of tree fall, building a platform for predictive based analytical tools for 'fall in risk' modelling to the electricity network.
