Dedicated and experienced Department Director responsible for guiding Capital Improvement, Major Maintenance and Security planning, design and construction efforts for Chesterfield County Public Schools. Thirty years of progressive experience - devoted to the betterment of educational spaces since 2007.As the Director of Construction for Chesterfield County Public Schools I am responsible for the direction, execution and oversight of multiple initiatives for the District’s 64,000+ students who attend its 67 schools: 41 elementary schools (grades K-5), 12 middle schools (grades 6-8), 12 high schools (grades 9-12), and two career and technical centers (with additional facilities on the way!). Focused on active, team-centered engagement, collaboration and service that translates vision into reality, satisfies end user requirements, and provides long-term value. Able to manage multiple priorities, engage at various levels, and serve multiple and diverse constituents with varying responsibilities. Recently served as Director of Facilities Management and Construction at Collegiate School, the 2nd largest Independent School in Virginia. Led New Construction and Renovation Projects that literally transformed the School’s two Richmond-area campuses, while also directing the work of a dedicated in-house team of over 50 facilities professionals in the day to day operations of the School.Formative experience in facility master planning, design, construction oversight and client service.
