About Scott Christian

Scott A. Christian is Senior Program Manager for Central Europe and NATO within Boeing Global Services. He is responsible for the growth and execution of international defense business in this region, and is based in Ridley Park, Pennsylania US.In his previous assignment, Scott served as Program Manager responsible for Global Helicopter Sustainment programs in Greece, India, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Spain, and Turkey. In this role, he held program management responsibility for Product Support and Training of AH-6i, AH-64 Apache, and CH-47 Chinook programs. Scott began his career with Boeing nearly 40 years ago as a mechanical engineer on F-15 and F/A-18. Over the next ten years, he led the mechanical packing design efforts on many military aircraft, helicopter, missile, and satellite programs. During this time, he also held responsibility as lead engineering representative on the Material Review Board (MRB) as well as acting department head of the mechanical engineering team at McDonnell Douglas Electronics Company. In the mid-90s, Scott began performing advanced research and development in virtual reality and visual systems for their potential use as an engineering tool in development of low-cost support solutions. Born in St. Louis, Scott attended the University of Missouri - Rolla and graduated with both a bachelors 1984 and a master’s 1988 degree in mechanical engineering. He also holds an MBA in Global Management 2006. Scott held Board membership on Employee Community Fund (ECF) of Boeing for eight years; St. Louis Crisis Nursery (Executive Committee - Fund Development Chair); United Way of Greater St. Louis; and Metropolitan Association for Philanthropy. During the year 2000, he took on the challenge as a Community Loaned Executive generating both business and fund development plans for the St. Louis Crisis Nursery.
