I get up every day charged by both the responsibility and the thrill of serving as chairman and CEO of Culligan, a $3.1B company and a worldwide leader in water delivery. I joined Culligan in 2012 with transformation in mind and in 2016 steered it through a successful acquisition by Advent International, generating a 20% return. In 2021, I led the sale of Culligan to BDT Capital Partners for $6 billion. Then, in 2022, I navigated a combination with U.K.-based Waterlogic bringing the organization to more than 17,000 employees and more than 1,000 dealers in 90 countries. Driven by a commitment to both our customers and our planet, Culligan has unparallelled expertise in sustainability, science and service – and that includes lowering both our own and our 155 million customers’ environmental impact. In fact, our solutions help customer avoid the use of approximately 40 billion single-use plastic bottles annually. Culligan also supports many United Nations initiatives including the Global Compact and the Water Resilience Coalition, and I’m a member of the CEO Water Mandate. Prior to joining the company, I was CEO of two corporations: GSI Group and Ryko Enterprises. My early career included roles at Danaher Corporation and Alcoa Corporation, which built on my educational foundation at Brigham Young University and Harvard Business School. Additionally, I’m on the boards of The Water Council, KIK Custom Products, American Bath Group and Danzer Group and am an advisor to Pritzker Private Capital.
