I have been serving as the Executive Director of FARMS International since 2018. I was attracted to the mission of the organization which seeks to strengthen the Global Church through establishing and developing revolving loan programs around the world. Our focus is on entrepreneurship, sustainability, and local ownership.Shortly before joining the staff of FARMS, I co-founded North & Shore with my wife in Duluth, MN. North & Shore is a modern gift shop that carries goods that represent the places and people in our region. From our first small storefront to a mobile store, and now to a larger storefront it has been nothing short of a grand adventure.Previously, I was employed as a Design Engineer at Cirrus Aircraft working on the SR series of piston powered aircraft as well as the Vision Jet. My responsibilities were far ranging and included work on the following: doors, control systems, control surfaces, CAPS - Cirrus Airframe Parachute System, landing gear, finishing, sustaining, and certification.Although these pursuits may seem divergent upon first inspection they have a common thread of requiring a high degree of problem solving and strategic thinking.
