As a Resident Assistant we would create a safe community as a student leader of our peers. This was done by holding social events where our residents could come out to meet with other residents that live in their same building and create friendships. I held many workshops for my peers such as, Car Maintenance, Job Searching, Life Skills, and Sex Education in order to keep residents educated and ease the transition into adulthood. With my efforts to build a cohesive Resident's Hall I was nominated for Rookie Resident Assistant of the Year.
