• Developed and released a hybrid React Native/webview app that let users collaborate over whiteboards and video calls. This offered a better experience to users over a mobile web browser, resulting in a large increase in mobile usage.• Refactored useContext and class based code to use improved state management by implementing Zustand, which simplified code and improved performance• Fixed high priority bugs related to certain whiteboard tools or input not working in the app’s webview, using a bridge that communicated events directly between the React website and the React Native app• Designed and implemented an “instance switcher” using endpoints that validate manually input server urls, which allowed users to connect to and save a list of different whiteboard servers, greatly improving speed and QoL for users to swap servers

• Improved the visual appeal and user friendliness of a website dedicated to virtual and in person meetups, created in React using NextJS and Redux, resulting in an increase in the user base and site activity• Designed and coded user friendly home page and a more appealing subscription page, increasing the site’s revenue• Created a streamlined onboarding process resulting in more sign ups• Updated the back end with Flask in Python using PostgreSQL to make users more aware of upcoming meetups

• Programmed player movement and object interactions in Unreal’s blueprint scripting language for a 3D platformer (titled Robots & Things), solved technical problems to implement flexible 3D camera system• Developed and designed website for the game in React using Next.JS for SEO• Implemented a discord API to get update messages from the game’s discord server, allowing for the site to seamlessly show community updates without needing to be manually updated• Developed a touch based mobile game made in Unity (titled Hyper Snake) deployed to android

• Collaborated with other developers and our clients to work on an app for information and events on a marsh• App contained a GPS map of the marsh marked with points of interest, a gallery populated with pictures and descriptions of the wildlife found throughout the marsh, and a calendar for events• Worked on a PC application for client to add wild life, locations, and events to a database• On top of being a useful marsh app for our clients to distribute, this was a capstone project that won 1st place against several other projects
