I get an opportunity to lead client/donor outreach for an organization that is absolutely changing the game for pets and their people in our community. I develop the marketing strategies to help grow the business from the retail and supporter sides, then get to produce content to spread the word. Each day I see the 30,000 foot view and then get my hands dirty writing, producing/directing video, developing social content, and using direct response tactics to change the game and grow donations.

On The Road

For a bit more than a year I traveled the country telling the stories I found along the way ... interesting folks, places and adventures that compelled me. As part of Rolling Home Films, I also produced Trail TV, a mountain bike travel journal that aired on Singletracks.com. I also served as the creative and marketing engine for a handful of start-ups and other small businesses around the country, providing creative outreach using film, words, direct response, and images to share their unique stories.

I worked alongside marketing teams to guide the strategy and tactics for a full product line in a highly competitive segment. My team prescribed retail and brand efforts, executed creative work, guided agencies on behalf of extensive product lines, while I served as project manager for the mid-tractor team. I was involved in media planning, ad placement, social strategy , copywriting, producing interactive and video content, and developing a robust digital footprint that helped increase market share year over year.

I worked directly with writers and designers on projects of all sizes, from brainstorming and concept development to putting out fires, building consensus and selling work to organizational clients and the executive suite.
