Finance Controller Support:- Heavily involved in preparation of statutory accounts and providing guidance and support to the team offshore that prepare the statutory accounts for the various legal entities.- Audit co-ordination to ensure the audit runs efficiently.- Assisting the Financial Reporting team on a monthly and quarterly basis.Commercial UK Finance Analyst:- Accounting support: Creating purchase orders, booking accruals, reviewing cost allocations, setting up master data in SAP, ensuring the Commercial employees have the correct access to the system based on their authorities, filing SOX controls to verify the accounting entries are correct.- Cost Management: Production of a monthly management information commercial cost report to assist management with managing budget spend and under performing areas. Cost recoveries from third parties and producing the Commercial Business Plan.Value Management: Monthly revenue report listing third party sales and tariff income contracts and their spend to assist management in determining the high/low value revenue contracts within Shell UK's portfolio in the North Sea.
