Started flight instructing in 1992 at East Coast Rotor & Wing, a FAA Part 141 flight school, where I quickly advanced to Assistant Chief Flight Instructor. My duties, in addition to flight instructing, were to develop testing and syllabus for our Part 61 students and administer testing to our Part 141 students. Our flight school was sold to Falconhead FBO, where I continued in the roll of Assistant Chief Flight Instructor. In 1995 I accepted a position at Flightech, Inc, also an FAA Part 141 school, as Chief Flight Instructor where I worked closely with the FAA to ensure our flight school continued to meet the strict requirements of FAR Part 141. As Chief Flight Instructor I oversaw the flight instructor department and was highly involved in the testing process and progress of the student clientele.In 1996 I accepted my first job at an airline (Commutair, a US Airways commuter) as First Officer on a Beech 1900D. Two and a half years later I upgraded to Captain.In 2000, I was hired at Midway Airlines where I again resumed the role of First Officer on a Bombardier CRJ 200 regional jet. In 2001 I was furloughed from Midway Airlines just prior to 9/11. In the spring of 2002 I was hired at Piedmont- Hawthorne as a charter pilot on a Beech King Air 100.In 2003 I accepted a job at NetJets, where I am currently a Training Captain on the Cessna Latitude.
