Oversight and management for all IS functions including server management, IS vendor relationships, technical support, application support, desktop support, communications support, security, helpdesk operations, and business continuance planning. Managed IS operating budget and lead all activities of the IS staff. I reported to administration and on projects and initiatives, provided consultant level technical guidance to leadership for technology projects, and was the HIPPA Security Officer.

Before acquisitions by Verizon Wireless and AT&T, it served 34 states and had approximately 13 million subscribers.At Alltel I was responsible for Storage Area Network (SAN) support for Alltel applications and systems. Managed multiple projects to support, and monitor Alltel’s storage area network. Worked with outside vendors such as EMC and Fujitsu for storage systems support, and with project managers to accomplish the various projects around the world. Specifically I was the Lead analyst for Alltel’s backup and recovery team. Working with individuals and project teams from Little Rock, and Twinsburg, OH to drive out policies, procedures, system design, and support of a 2.5 Petabyte storage environment to ensure data availability, and to facilitate business development projects.
