Atlas Capital purchased EVOQ (OTC US: EVOQ) Properties in October 2014. Managed the LA construction and operations teams; recruited, hired and trained new project managers, engineers and support staff. Opened the LA office and led the $350M redevelopment of the 1.8MM sf / 30-acre ROW-DTLA campus into a creative office/retail/restaurant/cultural district. Atlas Capital Group Select Projects/Achievements Include:• Construction of a new 3,800-stall, 10-story parking structure with retail / $75M• Creative office and retail conversion of a 150,00 sf historic produce market building / $18M. • Creative office and retail conversion of a 400,000 sf, 6-story historic warehouse building / $60M• Construction of a new 15MVA DWP substation, 4-lane signalized intersection, hardscape, lighting and landscaping throughout the campus / $14M. • Construction of 75,000 sf of speculative turn-key retail and office suites / $4.5M. EVOQ Properties Select Projects/Achievements Include:• $25M conversion of a 200,000 sf historic warehouse building to creative office & retail. • Initiated entitlement of vacant land for a 725-unit mixed-use / TOD project in Chinatown. • Supported 12-month marketing and sale process of EVOQ portfolio, ultimately purchased by Atlas Capital, earning 5X ROE to EVOQ investors 3-years following bankruptcy reorganization.

Led the sourcing, acquisition and entitlement of land for the development of distribution-scale solar PV projects in the Southwestern US.

Managed acquisition, financial analysis, entitlement, public/private/JV partnerships, and third party consultants for commercial mixed-use projects. Identified potential development, stabilized asset and JV opportunities in US and Mexican urban markets, and underwrote business plans for each potential project to test different investment strategies, maximize yields and mitigate risks. Oversaw community outreach programs, established relationships with key civic/political players and built public agency and community support for proposed projects.

Project management of the West Hollywood Gateway, a 250,000 sf $80M stacked retail redevelopment anchored by Target and Best Buy. Tracked budgets, negotiated contracts, managed consultants and contractors, reviewed potential lease deals and coordinated tenant construction.

Oversaw the design, permitting, construction and renovation of over 50,000 sf of residential and commercial space. Developed and implemented marketing strategies and campaigns for leasing, web-site and brokers. Assisted in management over 90 laborers, carpenters, masons and various subcontractors.
