OS hardening, patching, troubleshooting, optimizing, monitoring, and alarming. • Pre-sales Engineer. Conduct tours of the facilities, develop solutions for potential clients, create mock-ups of customer gear.• Post-sales Engineer. On-boarding of customers, ordering of equipment necessary to bring customers onsite, implementing power and cooling needs.• VMWare Senior Administrator. Responsible for our multi-tenant VMWare vSphere 6.5 environment. Built it up from v3.5 and have maintained it as a fault-tolerant and highly redundant environment. • SAN Senior Administrator. Implemented storage fabric to Virtual Environment. Create all storage for Virtual Environment.• Enterprise Backup Administrator. Implemented CommVault backup product for multi-tenant use. Maintained operations, provisioned customers, and developed backup solutions.• Billing Administrator. Created the automation scripts and processes to bill our customers. The automation collects data points from over 500 points of power, 100 points of network usage, backup usage, VMWare usage, and the ticketing system. • Vendor Management. Order all products for the datacenter. Work directly with manufacturers and engineering firms on custom design work and products. Compare multiple vendors technologies and create cost-benefit analysis to determine best business fit.
