A general position, I strategised design direction, wrote and managed content, layed out html/css,art directed/designed brand and print collateral, and pitched concepts to clients.

Design direction for a large industrial service supply corporation, as well as general design work as part of a marketing team. Oversaw photo shoots, did copywriting, developed internal brands.

While working as an Associate AD on AlbertaVenture, I partnered with our web developer for the interactive version of The Best Communities for Business. It received a Canadian Online Publishing Award in 2009. Later I was the AD for Alberta Oil. Designed magazines, created illustrations and inforgraphics, supervised junior designer, hired photographers and illustrators.

High-end marketing and advertising for luxury real estate clients. Brand creation, campaign development. I had the misfortune of arriving just before the economic crisis of '08. This had a negative impact on the agency's business and many of us chose to exit for new opportunities.

As this company's first art director, I oversaw the design aspects of their line of commercial and contract publications. Working with an established team of designers and production artists, we were able to bring the magazines up to modern standards in design and packaging.
