As a Police Captain at Paterson PD, I lead and manage a team of officers who are responsible for maintaining public safety and order in the city. I have 30years of law enforcement experience, 18.5 of which have been in a supervisory capacity. I have served in multiple divisions within my department, including investigations, crime scene preservation, critical incident preparation and response, departmental disciplinary proceedings, and trial preparation and courtroom testimony.I am also a Certified CPTED Professional, which means I have the skills and knowledge to apply the principles of Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design to reduce the opportunities and fear of crime in the community. I serve as an instructor in the police academy and during mandatory annual in-service training, where I share my expertise and best practices with other officers. I am passionate about improving the quality of life and safety of the residents and businesses in Paterson, and I am always looking for ways to enhance my professional development and leadership skills.
