Worked closely with R&D (on site) and product management to launch many new products generating millions in revenue. Key focus was moving over 30% of facility volume to China while decreasing prices of the remaining products for the first few years. As overall volumes decreased in the market with changes in technology, the focus shifted to leading the team through a plant closure.

Responsible for producing over 180 million fluorescent lamps in an 800,000 sq. ft. facility. Responsibile for a 24/7 operation, and approximately 400 direct and indirect reports in a highly automated non-union environment. Helped lead a high performing team through a lean transformation generating better results and greater employee engagement.

Spent the first three months consulting in high profile customer accounts such as Wal Mart in Baytown, TX and Home Depot in Phoenix, AZ. Took over a startup in Elwood, IL for the Georgia Pacific account just 5 months into the operation. Held full P&L responsibility in a 1 million square foot facility and a 24/7 operation. Processed over 35,000 trailers annually distributing to Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club, Target, Costco, Kroger and others.

Responsible for servicing over 4,000 Movie Gallery, Hollywood Video and Game Crazy Stores and the facility team working in a 24/5 operation. Distributed over 50 million units annually to the Eastern 2/3 of the United States consisting of DVD’s, VHS cassettes, games, and game hardware. Reported directly to the Senior Vice President of Supply Chain.
