My passion is finding solutions – whether self-driven, or as part of a team, I’ll do what it takes to find them. And the simpler the solution, then all the better. For me, it’s about listening, and learning, and experience, and being open to change, and then piecing all those together to innovate. Please see my posts to learn more. The other thing I like is to learn and think about why the heck our Universe is here, and what is the point of it all? This interest started in 2012 when a NY Times book review of “A Universe From Nothing” caught my eye. The review by David Albert was not positive at all, so I thought I better read it because there must be something interesting there. That book changed my perspective on many things, and ever since I have read and tried to learn, often voraciously, in the areas of cosmology, quantum mechanics, general relativity, consciousness, free will, philosophy, religion, and the intersection of them all. And they do intersect, I believe. The most recent mind-blowing idea I’ve learned about is Vitaly Vanchurin’s model, that at its foundation, our Universe operates as a neural network. Quantum mechanics still seems pretty crazy, but it continues to do a good job, so who knows where neural networks will be in 100 years.
