This is true regardless of a person’s circumstances, background, or location…and more support is needed for those who have not had the blessings I have had. We partner with employers that intentionally provide opportunities and support needed for their employees and their families to thrive. We then work with job seekers/employees to provide the training, support, and wrap around services needed to remove barriers that keep people from success. A particular area of focus is removing the barriers created by the benefits cliff effect, which often leads to families losing thousands of dollars of benefits when they receive a small raise. I work with the families as well as employers and government entities to smooth out the cliffs, enabling a successful move from minimum wage to the middle class through a series of raises and promotions. -
