Scott enjoys leading and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to establish strategies and implement actions which deliver tangible outcomes for stakeholders and the community.Scott has been a Chartered Accountant for over 30 years. His career began with KPMG in Adelaide before working in the UK, North America and various Pacific Rim nations. He became a partner in KPMG's Real Estate Practice in Sydney in 2002. In 2012, Scott returned to Adelaide as Partner in Charge.His experience includes all facets of the property industry including development, construction, investment and management. With a keen interest in infrastructure and engineering, he also has experience in energy & natural resources and defence. Scott has been intimately involved in the development of successful private businesses through capital raising to exchange listing. He has been the auditor of top 50 Australian public companies. In addition, he provided asurance and advisory services to major public and private companies in the property, engineering and defence sectors.In July 2018, Scott retired from KPMG to pursue a number of opportunities in Australia and overseas which were not possible as a KPMG Partner including taking an active interest in start-up businesses, non-executive director roles and more recently taking a hands-on role in developing strategy and executing M&A transactions (restructuring, refinancing, acquisition and disposal of large private businesses). Scott continues to provide advice to clients through Kalimna Consulting.
