PGCE Trainee in Secondary Physics

Full time employee at Marks and Spencer's Kingston store, working in Backstage Operations.Responsibilities:- Managing the cold-chain food stockroom inc. arranging and picking stock for the shop floor, setting out and maintaining the stock layout, training new staff on procedures, and general maintenance of the walk-in fridges.- Handling both food and general merchandise deliveries, breaking down stock to be sent to relevant departments, checking and signing paperwork, and ensuring return stock and waste is correctly sent back to the depot.- Responding to the needs of the store in regards to maintenance issues, fixing hardware issues across the store, logging issues with external contractors, and liaising with on-site contractors.- General operations duties.

Ensuring all tills in store are correctly filled with cash, counting all tills on a bi-weekly basis, using Excel spreadsheets to track costs and create rosters, taking calls and logging issues with IT, fixing issues with till hardware, along with general admin tasks.

Responsibilities include:- Monitoring cameras to catch shoplifters and thieves, and address security concerns.- Conversing with both on-site and off-site security to coordinate and relay security concerns and potential threats.- Working with police to corroborate data and apprehend suspects.- Recording video and images using RAS-Plus CCTV software.- Writing incident reports and creating spreadsheets and templates for data collection using MS Office.- Reviewing footage and images in order to identify potential security risks and illegal actions.

A small 3-person startup based on creating 3D and web-based software for gamification of businesses and other projects. Part of the Entrepreneurial Spark Glasgow hatchery. As creative director I worked as the creative driving force behind our projects. As well as the day to day running of the business as a director, my work included:- Graphic design.- 3D modelling, rigging and animation.- 2D animation.- Game design.- UI design.
