Responsible for drilling, completion and production operations of Ricochet Energy's challenging Yegua/Cook Mountain/Wilcox drilling program in South Texas. • Gather and analyze offset well data and prepare AFE's for all drilling wells.• Design mud programs, casing strings/drilling liners, wellhead equipment, cementing programs and directional plans for new drill wells. • Design and specify completion/workover services and equipment such as downhole packer assemblies, perforating, testing, fishing, cement squeezes, and stimulations. Obtain bids for services/equipment and select vendors. Prepare detailed procedure plan for all completions/workovers then implement and supervise the plan.• Monitor production and expenses of existing wells and change procedures or perform remedial operations when necessary to optimize production, increase efficiencies and reduce costs. * Initiate or modify chemical programs to enhance production and reduce costs * Optimize equipment/artificial lift to increase flowrates and reduce expenses * Coil tubing and slickline interventions to restore production * Perform sand control and surfactant treatments• Design and size tank batteries, separators, line heaters, heater treaters, meter runs, flowlines, gas gathering systems, artificial lift and compression facilities.

Austin, Texas Area

Responsible for East Texas production operations of 190 operated wells and 250 non-operated wells that EDF acquired in early 2013. Design, plan and supervised the multi-stage, Cotton Valley/Bossier and Buda horizontal completions and hook-ups of new drill development wells. Assist in developing preliminary completion procedures for Marcellus Shale drilling program on a 25,000 acre block in southwestern Pennsylvania. • Prepare procedures, plan, and supervise on site consultants for the completions of all new drilled wells.• Design and specify equipment for production facilities at new locations. • Reduce costs and improve efficiencies by re-sizing compressors and combining gas gathering systems at existing facilities.• Monitor oilfield chemical expenses and institute new chemical programs where needed.• Install, optimize, and maintain artificial lift equipment for new and existing wells.

Responsible for completion and production operations over all Killam oil and gas assets in South Texas. Supervise the daily operation of over 500 active wells and two field offices covering Webb, Starr, Dimmit, Frio, Duval and Zapata counties. • Supervise and direct superintendents, engineers, production foremen, and consultants in new completions, workovers, and production operations.• Design, plan, and supervise fracture stimulations for new completions and re-completions. • Identify, recommend, and prepare procedures and AFEs for workovers and re-completions of existing wells. • Design and construct production facilities, compressor stations, dehydration facilities, gathering systems, and other infrastructure necessary to produce and market oil and gas. • Install, optimize, and maintain artificial lift. Experience with all types of rod pump systems, plunger lift, hydraulic jet pumps, progressive cavity pumps, gas lift, and ESPs.• Assist in evaluation of producing property acquisitions.

Managed completion and production operations located mainly in the Maverick Basin of South Texas. Responsible for the daily operations of field offices, workover rigs, crews, pumpers, and gaugers for more than 650 company operated wells. Also responsible for the completion and hook-up of 50-60 newly drilled wells per year. • Designed and implemented multi-stage fracture stimulations for horizontal wells in the San Miguel, Eagle Ford, Georgetown, and Pearsall formations. • Identified, recommended, and prepared procedures for workovers and re-completions.• Planned, coordinated and supervised all workover activities. • Prepared AFE’s and performed economic evaluations for capital expenditures.• Designed, monitored and maintained artificial lift systems. Gained experience with gas-lift, conventional rod pumping, hydraulic pumps, plunger lift, PC pumps, and electric submersible pumps. • Designed and installed facilities for a 350 well waterflood project and for four heavy oil steamflood pilots• Managed state and federal agency compliance, reporting, and permitting.• Reviewed and monitored drilling, production and workover operations for TXCO’s interest in non-operated wells.
