Work Experience:Shrewsbury Town in the Community:Since 2017, I have worked within a community trust (Shrewsbury Town in the Community) where I have worked across multiple projects. Within this role, I started as a community coach delivering in schools (Physical Education) and on football development (delivering on STITC's Advanced Development Programme as a head coach). I have worked within the Health and Wellbeing sector and was part of the creation of the Kick Cancer programme (helping to provide physical activity for anyone who is living with or recovering from cancer) which was a success and still runs as a programme. As I gained more experience, I moved onto delivering on STITC's National Citizenship Service programme acting as a team assistant (2018) and team leader (2020). In 2019, I was promoted to an inclusive sport officer where I am currently in charge of planning, delivering and reviewing all of the disability sports provision at STITC. Voluntary Experiences:Ghana - In 2018, I volunteered in Ghana where i taught English, Maths and Physical Education in a small school within Keta. I also worked on a project to help build new schools and develop new toilet facilities within the local area. From this experience I learned how to adapt quickly to a given situation, be flexible on numbers and be more understanding of participants that I engage with.
