Over the past 30 years, I have extensive experience in engineering the design, manufacturing, and assembly of mobile railcar movers. I initially used Autodesk 3D Mechanical Desktop, then transitioned to Solidworks 3D modeling. As a leader, I guided the company in utilizing Solidworks 3D exploded view assembly drawings for the 7,000+ parts required to manufacture a railcar mover. These detailed assembly drawings were also used to develop a comprehensive 350-page parts book. Additionally, I developed and managed the cross-departmental Engineering Change Request system. My strong organizational skills led to my promotions, first to Engineering Manager and later to Director of Engineering at Boss Railcar Movers.In addition to my home construction skills, which include designing and physically building the house I live in, I have also mentored my sons in the construction of a family cabin and workshop in the Ozarks. Automotive repair is another hobby of mine.My achievements include earning the prestigious Eagle Scout award and serving in numerous leadership roles as a young man. Later in life, I returned to scouting as an adult leader, taking on positions such as Den Leader, Cub Master, Cub Scout Committee Chair, and Webelos Leader. I then went on to establish a new Boy Scout troop with over 40 registered members, and served in the roles of Assistant Scoutmaster, Scoutmaster, Merit Badge Counselor, and Eagle Scout Advisor.
