I am responsible for the development and management of petroleum well and pipeline asset management plans, and subsequent maintenance and activity records to demonstrate compliance of these assets to applicable standards and operating licenses. This at times involves organising service providers to undertake specialised work scopes (e.g. NDT, UT and DCVG testing).Additionally I undertake the preparation of well operational programs for well interventions and workovers, on wells utilising electrical submersible pumps (ESP) or sucker rod pumps, and well plug and abandonments. This involves an understanding of operational hazards and risk mitigation measures, well control principles, and industry standards and best practice. I also provide office or site-based project management, activity reporting (including daily reports to the regulator) and closeout reporting. I am required to engage with stakeholders ranging from vendors, service providers, site personnel, management, and the WA petroleum regulator (DMIRS).

Operations planning for well interventions and workover activities, including approvals and final activity reports. Maintaining well integrity compliance and statutory reporting for all the Company’s assets in the Canning Basin.

Part time role supporting Drilling/Completions Engineering and Operations, Well Integrity Management, Field Operations Planning, FMP/WMP management and DMP interfacing. My day to day activites are focused on the well life cycle; generally well construction and management, and assisting teams with project deliverables.

Consulting, developing, implementing, communicating and maintaining HSE Policies and Management System across the company, and assisting Clients with the development of HSE systems and project specific documentation for well based activities in compliance with local statutory regulations.

I was part of the Research & Development Structures Laboratory team that validated the Finite Element (FE) modelling by the Design Engineering teams. This included utilising data inputs and outputs from strain gauges, accelerometers, load cells and displacement transducers to replicate loads or movement in sinusoidal or real-time testing methods. I was required to consult with a number of stakeholders to design and manufacture test rigs and run test samples in a controlled and repeatable manner that required high levels of traceability and quality control.

Frontline customer accountability role (internal sales team and external clients) requiring problem solving of customer queries and concerns, and initiating resolutions. Required to issue and manage work orders, and delegate work to a group of 12 staff that included field service and workshop mechanics, painters and general hands.
