I have degrees in Accounting and Law and was admitted to practive law in 1980 in New Jersey. I practiced in New Jersey until 1998, when I moved to Virginia and became General Counsel of PBM Products and PBM Nutritionals. PBM was a start up company that created Store Brand infant formula by manufacturing and selling infant formula, at a significant savings to caregivers primarily in North America . For periods of time I was also EVP of Operations, responsible for infant formula manufacturing, the launch of new products and regulatory compliance. I also held the position of EVP of Sales on an interim basis.PBM was acquired by Perrigo Company in 2010. During the acquisition process, I was a key member of the team that facilitated the transaction (due diligence, contract negotiation, etc.). Once closing occurred I lead the integration process for PBM as it became part of Perrigo.The founder and CEO of PBM left Perrigo in 2010. At that time, I became the GM of Perrigo Nutrition (formerly PBM) and an EVP of Perrigo. I was a Section 16 executive, reporting to the CEO. I remained in this position until 2016. Since then, I have been an independent consultant, with most of my work in the infant formula industry.My varied career has given me experience in many areas including, but not limited to, leadership, project management, business development, contract negotiation, public speaking, legal drafting, strategy, product development, sourcing, regulatory compliance and sales.
