My name is Scott Johnson, and I have worked across many fields the past 8 years. I started working in fast food as a cashier in a drive through. After 2 years of working the register I started cooking for a few restaurants, one of which I helped open (Corner Bakery). After my food industry career I began working retail at dollar general, where I started out as a cashier. I filled in at Dollar Generals around Bowling Green as well as helping the Louisville road store prepare for opening. I was promoted to head cashier and was placed in charge of end of day operations. For better scheduling that was more in line with schooling I join Community Education as a class supervisor. While working as a class supervisor I was hired by a paraplegic client as a private nursing assistant. While I was working as a private nurse I joined Lowe's. At Lowe's I sell flooring installations, as well as filling in consistently in lumber/building materials and outside lawn and gardening. I acquired licences for 3 pieces of power equipment (forklift, reachlift, and order picker) within the first month of being hired. While working at Lowe's I have gained much experience in working with large fright including 15 foot carpet rolls as well as 16 foot lumber. Using our installation software I learned how to set up and plan flooring Installations, (Tile, Laminate/Vinyl planking, and carpet) collaborating with our third-party installation party.
