A requirement of the job was long hours to ensure the erection and dismantling of marquees across Scotland. Maximising resource utilisation to capitalise on other sales opportunities. Making local decisions, taking into account multiple site requirements, and communicating directly with clients in order to fill their requests.

I started working within Lightbody in the summer of 2020 and this has been an excellent opportunity to join a new team and develop my understanding of the warehouse operations and day to day supply chain work processes within a large perishable goods distribution warehouse. As a result of my work, I have learned how important it is for every individual to meet their work objectives to ensure the success of the team. I have also improved my problem-solving skills to ensure set work plans meet the target. This valuable experience gave me insight into the organisation operations systems and the ability to develop my communication styles through engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
