Consultant and project manager on a transformation project for expanding local Houston litigation print and documenting company. Completed project under 4 month contract period and under budget. Transformation included 3 phases:1. PC Refresh: managed project successfully to replaced aging desktops and laptops with 35 new desktops and 10 new laptops imaged with WINs XP Pro. New computers were also upgraded to Office 2007.2. Blackberry server rollout: managed project to add and rollout to production new Blackberry server.3. Printer transformation: managed project to replace aging network printers. Performed due diligence and scope planning for hardware requirements, including forecasting for current and future business needs.

I worked for Hewlett-Packard Company from 1999-2008, with the last 7 years working on and/or managing IT projects from: infrastructure, tools/applications development, call center, mergers, acquisitions, outsourcing, etc. My strengths come from a strong work ethic. I am organized and know how to manage my time effectively. I know the importance of prioritizing projects, deliverables, and action items according to urgency and/or business need. I am used to a demanding and dynamic work environment, and have no reservations working extra hours to accomplish goals and meet deadlines. I have worked extensively with cross-functional teams outside my own organization, and am comfortable communicating with different levels of management. I have strong communication skills, both written and verbal. I value following sound processes and having detailed documentation, which I have leveraged off of to create templates and repeatable processes that can be used when working different projects. In order to manage the lifecycle of my projects efficiently and effectively, I follow and utilize PMI’s project management methodologies and ITIL’s service management best practice to ensure the overall delivery and success of my projects. In addition, I am also a Certified Scrum Master (CSM), with knowledge and insight managing SDLC projects.
