Origin HR/GMS was the Recruitment Process Outsourcing and Vendor Management subsidiary of Sapphire Technologies (now part of Randstad Canada). • Restructured sales and delivery workforce to be more flexible – with ability to respond to demands from multiple lines of business;• Restructured a Origin’s delivery organization. Effectively merged the staff of four distinct business units, cross trained and redeployed employees where possible in order to create a more knowledgeable and flexible workforce. The transformation enabled the delivery organization to increase their project capacity by over 30%, and noticeably improved staff morale, effectiveness and efficiency. • Formulated a knowledge management strategy for four distinct divisions with the goal of improving organizational effectiveness and knowledge distribution. The proposed strategies decreased the overhead roles of experts by 10 – 30% and created new opportunities for employee development and utilization of expertise;• • Implemented an effective change management strategy to ensure that staff remained focused and on target during transition;• Worked with executive team, line management and staff to establish an effective program management methodology across lines of business;• Developed models and processes to effectively track delivery costs – provided a mechanism by which the profitability of each of the product lines could be evaluated.
