Based out of the Nashville, Tennessee, office, I am a Partner with Deloitte. I am part of Deloitte's Office of the General Counsel, serving as an internal resource to counsel. Examples of my responsibilities include providing accounting and auditing advice to internal and external counsel, preparing witnesses for testimony, and critiquing opposing party positions. Prior to joining the Office of the General Counsel, I was part of Deloitte's audit practice, primarily serving telecommunications, media, and retail clients. I was responsible for leading engagement teams in the performance of risk based audits and had been a part of the local and national professional practice network. I spent over 4 years in Deloitte's National Office providing responsive, practical advice to audit engagement teams and clients while guiding them through challenging accounting, auditing, and SEC reporting matters. I have a strong background in dealing with mergers, acquisitions and divestitures for public and private clients in addition to complex accounting and reporting matters, including areas such as revenue recognition, business combinations, and intangible asset impairments.I received a Bachelor of Science in accounting and business administration from Washington and Lee University. I am a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
