Overseeing daily operations at the Florence SC location of Kimbrells furniture. Responsible for inventory, sales, accounts receivable and overall customer service. Kimbrells is a 100 year old company in the Carolinas specializing in furniture, appliances and electronics. Kimbrells currently has 50 retail locations in North and South Carolina and in Georgia. We specialize in the family experience by offering high levels of customer support throughout the buying experience.

Newly promoted to Store Manager of the Charlotte Lacrosse Unlimited. It is my goal to continue to grow the sport of lacrosse in the Greater Charlotte area. I worked for Bob’s Discount Furniture in their Maryland distribution center. The facility was over 675,000 square feet in size. I was a multi department manager for Bob’s during that my time there. I managed 25-30 employees who assembled various dining room chairs and television consoles that were stored for customer delivery and I managed the overall quality control for the entire DC, which consisted of myself and 4 other QC inspectors. I was charged with monitoring incoming container shipments for quality on the receiving end and ensured merchandise was stored properly as well as sent to our delivery depot partners. I streamlined the quality check procedures from my dock to the depot through random marking and pop up inspection on site at the depot. Through my process, we reduced the amount of multiple deliveries to customers homes by over 75%. I also developed their drop shipment program for customers who were not in our immediate delivery area. From building furniture to custom building shipping pallets and packing processes, we streamlined that process for other Bob’s DC’s to model their drop shipment programs. I traveled twice to Bob’s first DC in Norwich CT to learn from their team to bring back their processes and tailor them to my team.
