Responsible for contract negotiations, relationship development and contract execution across all Smith & Nephew franchises. Customer base includes all Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO) and affiliated shareholders/sub-groups of those GPOs. In addition, I manage Federal Health contracting as well as the Ambulatory Surgery Center business. My team consist of two Directors of National Accounts (GPOs), two Directors of Government contracting and three ASC Business Managers.

Managing a team and driving revenue of over $800M representing all S&N Advanced Surgical Device businesses as part of Health Care Systems. The team is responsible for developing and implementing a strategic approach to enhance business relationships with key accounts, including integrated delivery networks (IDN’s), multiple hospital systems, high-profile individual hospitals as well as regional and national group purchasing organizations (GPO’s). Working with the C-suite and value analysis teams to develop strategies and drive results. My team is comprised of three regional corporate account directors, one Gov't corporate account director and one national account specialist (Recon).

Responsible for developing and implementing a systemic approach to enhance business relationships with key accounts including Integrated Delivery Networks (IDN), National GPO's, Regional GPO's, Regional Purchasing Coalitions and Self-Contracting/Self-Distribution models. Working across all Smith & Nephew Global Business Units including Orthopaedics, Sports Medicine, Advanced Wound Management and Biologic/Clinical Therapies. Lead engagement with targeted customers across broad cross-functional teams to drive above plan sales and profit growth throughout the central U.S. markets.

Negotiate and manage all Covidien agreements with the largest GPO in the industry, Novation. This book of business represents 36 agreements and approximately $730M in contract sales.

Promoted to this position to manage the U.S. based sales force that consist of two Zone Vice Presidents, eleven Regional Sales Managers, eleven Vascular Access Managers and sixty-six Sales Specialist that generate over $230MM in annual sales.
