Co-founded Read-a-thon which became the fastest-growing school fundraising platform in the country while promoting literacy among children of all ages. Having grown the platform to support an average of 1.7 million readers processing more than $26M in sales each season, I played an integral role in negotiating the sale of and transitioning the company to a private equity firm in 2023. I stayed on to facilitate a smooth integration and am now looking for my next professional challenge. During my time with Read-a-thon, I innovated multiple product offerings for schools and libraries that led to 19 billion minutes of reading across the platforms to date. This included products that enabled students to use funds to make selections within the Read-a-thon e-Commerce store or to receive certificates for school-designated events and privileges. We also provided a product to enable libraries to host an online book fair and supported APOs in getting donations to students worldwide.Earlier in my career, I worked on multiple branding, marketing, and UX design projects for industry leaders such as Coleman Beef, Atkins, Mike’s Hard Lemonade, Plains Capital Bank, UMC Medical Centers, Pedro’s Tamales, and more.
