In collaboration with AKA's leadership team, my responsibilities focus on defining the corporate vision, developing the marketing strategy, driving new client acquisition, strategic consulting, human resource management, and financial oversight. Before joining AKA, I founded and served as Managing Partner and Co-CEO of Marketing Werks. I led the $100M consumer engagement company that provided marketing services to recognizable brands including Verizon, PlayStation, Walgreens, LEGO, Charbroil, Chase, United Health Group, Indy Car, Bridgestone, and Sony. Earning multiple accolades for my leadership abilities as well as for my creative direction, I am proud of landing on Crain's Chicago Business 'Fast 50’ list of fastest-growing companies for five consecutive years, Chicago Tribune’s ‘Best Places to Work,’ PROMO Magazine’s ‘Promo 100’ list of best promotional agencies, and featured on Event Marketer's ‘IT List’ of top marketing agencies. Using a hands-on approach to generate enthusiasm for brands in pioneering ways, I spearheaded award-winning campaigns for LEGO and Hershey by tracking measurable results that landed record-setting ROI. I enhanced each client's initial idea and made it bigger, better, and more memorable. In for the long haul, my brand partnerships with PlayStation, Walgreens, and LEGO each sustained more than 14 years. When the average CMO serves for 18 months, my work distinguishes itself - making lasting non-transactional impressions rooted in proven work and personal connections. I consider myself a philanthropist, I've served in leadership positions on six different not-for-profit boards, accumulated 20+ years of board experience, and founded the Moller Family Foundation. My passions rest in providing access to education to first-generation college students, hunger relief, and environmental sustainability. I am an endurance athlete and adventurer. I've completed six marathons, am an avid cyclist, a triathlete, traveled to all seven continents, and am guided by two basic tenets -- honesty and trustworthiness.
