Experienced Power Engineer by trade, with a demonstrated history of working in power plants that include natural gas/steam turbines, high temperature hot water/steam boilers, extensive water treatment and auxiliary equipment; ie: pumps, valves, generators, motors, etc. Experience running panel for pipelines, using SCADA operating systems and leak detection systems to monitor and control safely and efficiently. Changed roles to a SCADA position, to further develop my knowledge and skills. I have been enhancing my skills by designing displays for pipeline controllers and maintaining data collection and communications for our SCADA system. Skilled in steam, petroleum, energy, water treatment, oil and gas transmission, and SCADA and leak detection systems. 3rd Class Power Engineering ABSA ticket and a Diploma in Power Engineering Technology from Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
