Responsible for all aspects of SCADA project delivery from system definition through project development to full system operation. Establishing and meeting project schedule and budget, understanding and documenting customer requirements whilst conforming to ISO 9001. Also responsible for review, support and ongoing development of project team members.

Responsible to direct the design, building and deployment of new versions of Pason’s Electronic Drilling Recorder to the more than 2000 land based drilling rigs in US, Canada and Mexico. Direct supervision of approximately 23 developers. Ensure that internal customer requirements for new features are met while maintaining quality. Provide and mentor resources supporting Pason’s 7x24 helpdesk. Provide training and technical support to new team members, supervise project team members, including resource scheduling and performance appraisals and assisting Operations with technical advice, software estimates and delivery schedules.

Part of core team responsible for redesigning and rebuilding Pason’s Electronic Drilling Recorder for land based drilling rigs. System was built on Linux Redhat 7 using C++, java, MySQL using UML design methods. Designed and built C++ based communications engine supporting multiple protocols over TCP/IP, parallel and serial ports. Rig Network design based on custom PPP network over high speed RS-485 serial lines. Developed rig workstation re-imaging method using Ghost 7.x to simply field support. Variety of source control systems utilized including Visual Source Safe, CVS and subversion.

Senior Systems Analyst responsibilities include the design, development, testing, commissioning of any aspect of a system. Responsible for technical activities and involved in the business of completing a project. High level of technical leadership and guidance to all team members.

Systems Analyst responsibilities include the design, development, documentation, testing and commissioning of multiple components of a system. Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members.

Programmer Analyst responsibilities include the design, development, testing and commissioning of single components of a SCADA system project.
