• Employed effective land strategies for leasing and well placement following the geological conception of a prospect;• Worked independently to insure locations were ready ahead of an active four rig drilling program;• Worked on a two-man team responsible for acquiring and/or leasing and developing 34,000 net mineral acres within the Cottage Grove play in Custer and Dewey counties in Western Oklahoma, Granite Wash play in Gray, Roberts, and Wheeler counties in Texas Panhandle;• Ran title and prepared ownership reports through extensive courthouse interaction;• Communicated with mineral owners in connection with drafting title curative documents;• Negotiated oil and gas leases based on ownership reports, right of way agreements, pipeline easements on related; • Managed the relationship with mineral and surface owners, including but not limited to: settling surface damages, negotiating surface use agreements, right of ways, and easements;• Worked closely with drilling engineers and geologists to obtain the necessary permits and approvals from the Oklahoma Corporation Commission; • Testified before the Oklahoma Corporation Commission as a land witness;• Indexed, imaged, and ran title at numerous Oklahoma and Texas county courthouses in order to identify lease opportunities within prospect areas; and• Facilitated documentation during several phases of the well preparation process, including site preparation, obtaining drilling and division order title opinions, and necessary communications and consents with landowners.
